TELLURIDE, CO (Dec. 17) - U.S. Snowboarding SBX rider Brooke Shaw was injured Wednesday while training for the Visa Snowboardcross Cup in Telluride. According to U.S. Snowboarding Medical Director Richard Quincy, Shaw suffered an injury to her left knee.
Shaw is expected to be transported Thursday to the Vail Valley Medical Center for further evaluation by the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic. She will not compete in Saturday's World Cup and Olympic qualifier at Telluride.
