International Entry Criteria

All enscription forms must be sent to nalexakos@ussa.org at least 10 days prior to official training day

For the Continental Cup Events

Each nation is entitled to a basic quota of 8 (max. 5 per gender). In addition the top 16 riders in the current FIS points list will be eligible.
-
Canada may enter up to 20 men and 10 women in each event.

QUALIFICATION

Riders will be seeded into heats

No Riders are pre-qualified directly to the Finals

(3) Heats of Men Approx. 30 Men Per Heat

(1) Heat of Women Approx. 40 Women Per Heat

Best one out of two run format. Same start order for both runs

Judging Criteria - 5 Judges - all Overall Impression
FINALS
-
Finals field size will be 16 men and 8 women

Top (4) men from each heat and Top (4) overall will qualify for the finals

Best one out of two runs. Start order - Women/Men

Same start order for the second run as the first
SNOWBOARDCROSS FORMAT
QUALIFICATION
-
All Riders will take two timed runs - women then men.
-
The best of two runs will determine the qualification ranking
-
The top 32 men / 16 women will qualify for the Finals.
-
The top 16 men and women will be seeded by FIS points, the remaining riders will be randomly seeded.
FINALS
-
Riders will be placed into the heats based on their best qualifying run.
-
The top 32 men / 16 women will qualify for the Finals.
-
4 riders will start per heat.
-
Single elimination format shall be used, two riders advancing from each heat.
-
Lane selection in each heat will be based on rider's time from the Timed Trials (best time selects lane first... second best time next... and so on).

There is limited lodging available at each of our hosting resorts. The resorts have agreed to extend a limited number of discounted rooms for those affiliated with the Grand Prix. Please contact each resort individually for details/reservations, and make sure to specify that you are involved with the Grand Prix.
