A couple of top-30 finishes later and palmer busted back through to the top-10 at a World Cup in Bad Gastein, Austria, finishing eighth. Six more top-30s rounded out the season for the Palm, who now has his sights set on making the 2010 Olympic team.

A legend of snowboarding, Shaun most likely started riding in a dream even before the first snowboard was developed. In 1985, "mini-shred," as he was called by his friends, entered the World Championships and swept the podiums in halfpipe, slalom and downhill.
